The second chapter of “The X-Files” event series, an all-new 10-episode installment, is once again executive-produced by Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Their longtime co-stars Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, and Annabeth Gish also return, as do Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose from Season 10.
New this year are Barbara Hershey and Brian Huskey.
The 10-episode season will start where the previous season’s finale left off, with that big helicopter, and takes you right from there. You’ll be launched into a very urgent adventure that has a lot to do with William — Mulder and Scully’s kid. So the search for William will be a significant thread through the show.
