Horror streaming service Screambox is celebrating the Halloween season by doing something nice … and FREE… for horror fans.

From the Press Release:
To celebrate this season of scares, the leading fright site releases 13 exclusive, fan-favorite films — which are unavailable for streaming on any other major streaming service — completely FREE from October 13 – 31, 2017.

Screambox, the leading streaming service for hardcore horror fans, is celebrating the Halloween season with a fun treat: 13 new fan-favorite films will be released completely free for streaming on any device from Friday the 13th of October through Halloween, October 31st. Even more thrilling, these top-rated, terrifying titles are exclusive to Screambox — true horror lovers won’t find these films on any other major streaming service, including Netlfix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.

“It’s been a great year for Screambox, with the addition of an incredible selection of content and continued support from a rabid, rapidly growing subscriber base,” says Larry Baird, Screambox COO. “We wanted to do something to give back to the amazing horror community who got us this far. What better way to do that than by giving them access to free content? It’s our way of thanking our fans, and letting them share the screams with people they love.”

13 Screams to Halloween begins on Friday the 13th with the hugely popular documentary His Name was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th. From there a new title will be released each weekday. The Halloween horror countdown culminates with All Hallows’ Eve on October 30th and the world-streaming premiere of a mystery movie on October 31st; clues are being posted in emails and on social media to see if fans can guess the exclusive title before it becomes available.

This festival of fright also offers some fun surprises on weekends — including all-new original content and short-form episodes featuring Academy Award-winning talent that was shot exclusively for Screambox.

Anyone in the U.S. can visit www.screambox.com/13 to stream the free horror movies from Screambox for the 13 Screams to Halloween. No credit card or payment of any kind is needed to enjoy these amazing releases. All Screambox content is available to stream on virtually any device — including apps available for Google Android, Apple iOS, AppleTV, Amazon Fire, Roku, Xbox, and more.

Some highlights include:
Fight of the Living Dead – This highly-anticipated series features YouTube stars fighting for survival in a real-life zombie infestation. When Fight of the Living Dead was originally released, the show got little promotion and viewers had to pay to watch it, so many horror fans missed out. Now the entire first season can be viewed for free during 13
Screams to Halloween.

Dead Before Dawn – Originally released in theaters as a 3D experience (which kept many viewers away), this overlooked gem is a must-see for any fan of gruesome horror.

The Eye – This is the original Japanese horror film that was so immediately popular in the United States that it led to an English adaptation starring Jessica Alba. But ask any fright fan and they will attest that the original is best, and now it can be streamed here.
