Poltergeist Encounters Trailer is a Mess of Darkness and Found Footage
A trailer and poster for the upcoming found footage horror film Poltergeist Encounters have been released and can be seen below.
I’ll be honest when I say that the trailer is a bit of a mess. It’s not the content, it’s simply the fact that I can’t see a damn thing because it’s all so dark that nothing stands out. If I can’t see your film, there’s a pretty damn good chance I’m not going to enjoy it. See Alien vs. Predator: Requiem as an example of this.
Poltergeist Encounters was directed by John Migliore and stars Andre Guantanamo, Rachél Hopkins, and Deborah Jayne Reilly Smith. It comes to DVD on December 12th through Wild Eye Releasing.
Synopsis:
A questionable group of paranormal investigators with their own web series receive the offer of a lifetime. They must stay one night in a potentially haunted house to receive a large sum of money. What could possibly go wrong?
It seems like easy money to Anton, team leader of the group, and privately, an unbeliever in the supernatural. Mick, Roach, and Terrance are all investigators that take the entire situation far too lightly, before everything they believe changes.
On that fateful night, they learn that it’s all fun and games until things get real.
