When it comes to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, a good-looking leading man is needed. If only so Leatherface can bound the unsuspecting lad to a table and extract the flesh from his head to wear. That’s just important!
According to Deadline Scott Eastwood (pictured right), the youngest son of actor/director Clint Eastwood, has been set for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, the franchise reboot that starts production this week in Louisiana. Eastwood will play the role of Carl, the male lead, and the deal calls for him to be part of what is envisioned as a trilogy.
He joins the previously announced Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley and Sue Rock.
John Luessenhop (Takers) is directing with Carl Mazzocone, Avi Lerner, and Mark Burg producing.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is scheduled for an October 5th, 2012 release from Lionsgate.
