Tokyo Game Show 2017: Mechagodzilla Joins the Fray in New City Shrouded in Shadow Trailer

We’ve been covering City Shrouded in Shadow like crazy here on Dread Central, so those of you who are just as excited for the game as we are will be thrilled by the action-packed new trailer which debuted at the 2017 Tokyo Game Show.
You know the deal… Bandai Namco obtained the rights to a ton of classic monsters from Japanese cinema and shoved them all into City Shrouded in Shadow. So we have official appearances from Godzilla, Gamera, Mothra, Battra, King Ghidorah, Ultraman, and a ton more. If you jump to 2:51 in the new trailer, you can see that Mechagodzilla will also be showing up to bring his robotic brand of destruction to the streets of Ichi City. At this rate, it seems that just about every monster from the Godzilla franchise is bound to make an appearance in the game.
City Shrouded in Shadow will be released exclusively on the PS4 in Japan on October 19, 2017. With the presence of an A-lister like Godzilla, I’m willing to bet that it won’t be long before we hear news of an international release.
