Red Band Trailer For Del Toro’s The Shape of Water Released

A red band trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water has been released and it doesn’t offer too much that would be considered “naughty” or “violent” but it certainly adds story that the previous trailer did not bring forth. Therefore, I urge those who want to control their experience of seeing the film to avoid this one, no matter how appealing and exciting a new del Toro trailer is.
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, who co-wrote the film with Vanessa Taylor, The Shape of Water stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer. It comes out December 8th.
Synopsis:
In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
