We hear from you guys all the time how tired you are of seeing stories about films that are screening exclusively in New York and Los Angeles so this one’s for our friends in the Midwest… Columbus, Ohio, to be exact! Wild Eye Releasing, a growing leader in independent cinema since 2008, in association with Midnight Monster Movies, is presenting a day of splashtastic, fantastic horror fun as they host a marathon of some of Wild Eye’s most popular releases.

The event, being held at the Gateway Film Center in Ohio on September 16/17 (from noon-noon), features a full 24 hours of the Wild Eye catalogue as well as dinner and breakfast.

With the assistance of Wild Eye president Rob Hauschild, who admits his product and practices are unapologetically based on those of B-movie legend Roger Corman, organizer (Dr.) Bob Tesla, fictional younger brother of Nikola Tesla, has put together a slate of outrageously fun films including Asylum of Darkness (with cast and crew Q&A), erotic horror-comedy The Disco Exorcist, Donald Farmer’s Shark Exorcist, and Tales of Poe starring genre legends Adrienne King and Caroline Williams.

The marathon features:

  • Tales of Poe
  • Caesar & Otto’s Deadly Xmas
  • Frankenstein’s Hungry Dead
  • Dinner Break: Tailgate Dinner Buffet
  • Queen Crab
  • Bigfoot: The Movie
  • Shark Exorcist
  • Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated / Night of the Living Dead (simultaneous double feature)
  • Asylum of Darkness
  • The Disco Exorcist
  • Sodomaniac
  • Clownkill
  • Badass Monster Killer

For more details visit the 24-Hour Wild Eye Marathon Facebook page. Purchase options include marathon tickets only ($25), plus add-ons for the dinner buffet ($18) and breakfast ($12) (or $25 for both meals) and a souvenir cup with free soft drink refills ($15). Dinner will include: chili with toppings, bratwursts & sauerkraut, hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, pretzels, chips & dip, brownies & cookies. Breakfast will include: breakfast sandwiches, fruit & coffee.
