Help George A. Romero Get His Beyond Deserved Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Icon. Few deserve that distinction more than George A. Romero. Not just because of his films either… but because of what he gave us as fans – in person or at conventions. The inspiration he filled us with. The hope and the affirmation that we can, as people, make a difference by going against the grain.
There’s no doubt about it… George A. Romero was good to his fans. Now it’s our turn to be good to him.
As many of you may be aware, George A. Romero was nominated and selected to receive his long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this October. The enormous costs associated with this honor are well over $60,000 (including the price of the actual star and related reception events).
As a result the people behind trying to make this happen are turning to you… to us… his fans and those who knew and loved George to help out to complete his star fund. They still need to pull in a minimum of $35,000.
