One of the most unexpected announcements at Gamescom was Black Mirror, a reboot of the popular point-and-click gothic horror trilogy.

The original Black Mirror was released on PC in 2003 and followed a young man exploring a cursed manor house in an effort to solve the mystery behind his grandfather’s death. Two sequels were both released in 2011. The series cited as being one of the finest examples of gothic horror in gaming, and a collected edition of all three games is currently available to purchase on Steam.

The reboot is being developed by KING Art Games, who were behind last year’s fantasy RPG The Dwarves, and will be published by THQ Nordic. We won’t have long to wait before we get to play it, as it’s set to be released on 28 November 2017.
