You know what the world needs more than anything right now? Yep, a new Jurassic Park video game was at the top of my list too.

From Frontier Developments, the team behind Planet Coaster and Elite: Dangerous, comes Jurassic World Evolution, an upcoming simulation game in which you’ll build and run your own dinosaur theme parks. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that not too many tourists get eaten.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Jurassic World Evolution is the ability to bioengineer your own new and unique dinosaur species, which will no doubt result in the birth of some hideously beautiful creatures.

An announcement trailer was revealed at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, with most of the social media pages already having gone live. Here’s hoping Jurassic World Evolution becomes the first M-rated video game in the franchise when it arrives on PC and consoles next summer.

Jurassic World Evolution Announcement Trailer:
Create your own Jurassic World in Jurassic World Evolution. Coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in summer 2018.

Build your own Jurassic World, bioengineer new dinosaur breeds, and construct attractions, containment, and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path, and spectacular challenges arise when “life finds a way.”
