The Evil Within 2 Gets a New Batch of Incredibly Disturbing Artwork

The Evil Within 2 is shaping up to be one hell of a disturbing game. To drive this point home, publisher Bethesda released a ton of incredibly gruesome images, which will appear in the game as artwork created by the insane artist Stefano. Like everything in the world of The Evil Within, they aren’t for the faint of heart.

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you… the first four images really are moving slightly. That’s because they’re gifs rather than stills, and seeing them move just makes them all the more unsettling.

The Evil Within 2 will once again focus on protagonist Sebastian Castellanos, who must re-enter the nightmarish world of STEM to save his daughter, Lily. It’s being developed by Tokyo-based Tango Gameworks with Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami on board as producer and will be published by Bethesda on PC and consoles on October 13.

Synopsis:
