Microsoft’s press conference at this year’s E3 has just ended. There were a few new snippets of information, but what they mostly focused on were games due this year … apart from one single exception.
Resident Evil 5.
They showed a brief trailer running on the game engine. It didn’t show gameplay, but we saw the same desert, the same rundown town, and lots of Africans infected with … well, who knows at this point. Click here to check out the trailer.
An extended version of this trailer will be released in a couple of months. Once the longer cut is made available, we’ll be poring over every frame for information.
The big piece of information we did get, though, is that it is currently slated for release next year.
That’s a pretty big window, but it’s the first hint we’ve gotten as to how far along the game is.
