Horror Nights Gain Horror Legends
Yes, it’s that time of year already. Time to turn our thoughts to Halloween, which also means Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. And the 2007 version promises to be bigger and better than ever thanks to the teaming up of Universal Parks & Resorts with none other than New Line Cinema.
What does that mean for fans? Well, do the names Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface ring any bells? They’ll be a big part of the show in both Orlando, FL, and Hollywood, CA. “Each year we take this incredible event to new levels,” said Jim Timon, senior vice president of entertainment for Universal P&R. “Our partnership with New Line gives us the opportunity to truly immerse our guests in the Halloween experience and put them face-to-face with characters they aren’t used to seeing off the movie screen. New Line’s films and characters will be integrated into all aspects of Halloween Horror Night’s creative content, giving guests a chance to meet – or run from – Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface in person.“
Those who haven’t experienced a Halloween Horror Night are truly missing out. Scare zones, haunted houses, and hundreds of performers fill Universal’s theme parks on select nights throughout the month of October, resulting in the country’s largest and most elaborate Halloween event. The dates are as follows:
Universal Studios Florida: 23 select nights running from Sept. 28-29 through Oct. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 24-28, and Oct.31-Nov. 3
Universal Studios Hollywood: 10 select nights running from Oct. 5-6 through Oct. 12-13, 19-20, 26-27, 28 and 31.
