Tom Sizemore Set to Open The Door for Global Genesis Group

Tom Sizemore has been enjoying a bit of a resurgence in his career thanks to a rather sizable role in Showtime’s “Twin Peaks” revival, and now he’s getting ready for a return to the big screen… per Deadline, Sizemore has joined Global Genesis Group’s horror thriller The Door in a starring role.
The film, which begins shooting this fall, is being produced and distributed by Global Genesis. The screenplay is by Charles Morris, Jr., and Harel Goldstein (Do You See Me), and a director is being sought with Corbin Timbrook (Do You See Me) said to be in the mix.
The Room is set in the present day and follows Scott (Sizemore) and Rebecca Johnson as they move into a home where, in the late 1950s, Dr. Lazarus Saint and his young son, Vincent, were killed in a house fire. Rebecca discovers the ghost of Vincent, who warns her that Scott is becoming the dead Lazarus. She realizes she is doomed unless she can stop the reborn Lazarus.
