Tribute Video: Remembering Vincent Price

Post Thumb:

It’s hard to believe that the iconic Vincent Price would have been 100 years old next week (he was born May 27, 1911), and it’s even harder to believe that it’s been almost 18 years since we had to say goodbye to the beloved actor.

This week the Vincentennial Celebration began in Vincent’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and will be running every day through May 28th. The festival is being held to celebrate Vincent’s cinematic achievements as well as his personal passion for the creative arts. In addition to over 20 different screenings of Vincent’s various film performances, there will also be Q&A sessions with those who knew him best along with an art gallery exhibition celebrating both the actor and his love for art.

Tribute Video: Remembering Vincent Price

This coming Monday, May 23rd, Dread Central will be giving our readers two very different looks at one of most prolific presences that ever graced the big screen (or little screen for that matter) as we recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with both legendary writer/director/producer Roger Corman and Victoria Price, Vincent’s daughter.

Before we release the interviews on Monday, however, we wanted to take a look back at Vincent’s career in film and on television with a video tribute put together by our own Brian Dreads. The video highlights his most iconic roles in film as well as some of his hilarious television appearances over the years. You may want to keep a Kleenex close, too (this writer needed one!).

Enjoy our video tribute to the one and only Vincent Price below, and make sure to check back on Monday when we post our interviews in tribute to Vincent’s 100th birthday next week.
