Remembering George A. Romero: The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero Pay Tribute at #SDCC17

“The Walking Dead” panel at the San Diego Comic-Con is always a standing-room-only affair, and this year was no exception, although the event was tinged with some sadness.

Along with paying tribute to recently deceased stuntman John Bernecker, the panel included comments from The Walking Dead comics creator Robert Kirkman (writer/producer of the TV series) and Greg Nicotero (director/producer/special effects makeup) reflecting on the early influence the late George A. Romero had on them and their peers.
