The official Monster Hunter YouTube channel have released a 22 minute gameplay video for the upcoming Monster Hunter: World, which showcases some beautiful scenery and some not so beautiful monsters.

As its name suggests, Monster Hunter: World will take place in an open world environment, with the footage showcasing the Ancient Forest area. Fans will be delighted to see the return of the Great Jagras creature, which has long been a staple of the series, in addition to the fire-breathing Rathalos. It looks like one of the main new monsters introduced in World will be the T-Rex-like Anjanath, which also features significantly in the footage below. The full English voice acting is also a nice touch, and the epic score pretty much speaks for itself.

The Monster Hunter franchise has currently sold 40 million copies worldwide, a number which will greatly increase Capcom publish World on PC, PS4, and Xbox One next year.
