Bokeem Woodbine Will Experience Total Recall

The Total Recall remake is taking on new cast members every few days, and today we got word that Bokeem Woodbine (Devil) is next up for a stint in New Shanghai.
Variety tells us that Woodbine is set to play Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell)’s best buddy who, in this version, has a big brother relationship with our protagonist.
The original 1990 movie, based on the Philip K. Dick story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale, was about a man haunted by a recurring dream of journeying to Mars who comes to believe he is a secret agent and ends up on a Martian colony while the new story involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai.
Total Recall is being directed by Len Wiseman and produced by Neal Moritz and his Original Film banner. The redux will be landing in theatres on August 3rd, 2012.
