Kurt Russell Claims He Was the Pilot That Witnessed the Phoenix Lights Incident

Here’s a very interesting video that slipped past us until today. During a publicity tour for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, actor Kurt Russell was presented with the fact that he was the civil pilot in the air during the 1997 Phoenix Lights incident that radioed in the information!
As he tells the story, he was flying his stepson Oliver to see his girlfriend when they saw six bright lights in the sky. He radioed it in only to be told that there were no other flights in the area. Two years later, Russell came home to find his wife Goldie Hawn watching a program about UFOs and the segment was about that particular event.
