Isn’t technology grand? We remember back when phones were … well, phones. Now they’re highly advanced pieces of tech that can bring you multimedia entertainment while on the go. We also hear that if you wrap them in tinfoil, they can be used to talk to aliens without having to worry about roaming charges. Neat, no?

If you’ve been to movie theatres recently, you’ve no doubt noticed the Priest standee. But did you notice the special little marker on it? No worries, we’ve got the 411 here for you Jesus Jones style, as in right here, right now.

If you scan the marker (included below) with your mobile phone using an app that you download on GetTag, you will reveal a special video message from Maggie Q along with special sneak peek – the opening sequence from the film, animated by Genndy Tartakovsky.

Get started below and enjoy! When you’re done, check out an online game that you can play in 2D or 3D that has just been launched. Sony will be giving away 3D glasses in select stores that they’re announcing tomorrow on the game’s site. Check out the Priest game here!

Look for more on Scott Stewart’s Priest starring Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet (The Unborn, Pandorum, The Roommate, Twilight), Madchen Amick, Stephen Moyer (“True Blood”), Maggie Q., Christopher Plummer, Brad Dourif, and Alan Dale soon.

Priest will be in theatres on May 13th, 2011.

Synopsis
Set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires, Paul Bettany is Priest, a legendary warrior priest during the last Vampire War, who now lives in obscurity among the other human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities controlled by the Church. But when his 18-year-old niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires in the desolate wastelands outside, Priest breaks his sacred vows and ventures out to find her and seek vengeance upon those responsible, especially their brutal leader (Karl Urban). Priest is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, Hicks (Cam Gigandet), a local outpost sheriff, and Priestess (Maggie Q), a member of his former legion of vampire-killers who has otherworldly fighting skills.
