Go Into the Stunning Stop-Motion World of Phil Tippett’s Mad God

To this day, the name Phil Tippett is associated with a rather humorous internet meme. But while people may mock his job title on Jurassic Park, Tippett should be recognized for the incredible visual effects work he’s done over the years on projects like Star Wars, RoboCop, Piranha, Starship Troopers, and more.

In a new video, Great Big Story interviewed Tippett about his work over the years and his passion project Mad God, which mixes live-action with stop-motion. Supposedly, this is something Tippett has been working on for over 30 years!

I really recommend checking out the video below because it shows an insight into an astonishing mind, one that lives in a world of imagination and wonder and is capable of realizing them in our reality.

If you want to see the third part of Mad God, you can help make it a reality over at Kickstarter.
