New In Flames Music Video Takes Owlman Into the Cosmos

Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames (although I’m not sure this song qualifies in that genre) have released a music video for their track “Here Until Forever,” which comes from their latest album Battles.
The video uses stop-motion animation to tell the story of an Owlman (who looks rather similar to the Lord of Tears chap) who desperately seeks a way to meet and spend time with a lovely looking cosmic Goth lady, only to be thwarted by the sun. Doomed to relive this day over and over, we can only watch his desperation.
Oh, and there’s a wall of eyeballs. Just throwing that out there.
The video was directed and animated by Mexican stop-motion artist Luis Téllez.
