SXSW 2011: New One-Sheet and Stills – Joseph Kahn’s Slasher Flick Detention

The SXSW Film Festival kicks off in just a couple of days, and to get you geared up for the goodies, we have some new stills and a brand spanking new one-sheet from Torque director Joseph Khan’s latest horror entry, Detention. Dig it!
Detention stars Dane Cook, Josh Hutcherson, Shanley Caswell, Spencer Locke, Parker Bagley, Alison Woods, Walter Perez, and Evan Williams. Look for more soon.
Synopsis:
The film follows a 17-year-old who is given detention on the night of her prom. Over the course of the night her friends are murdered by a fictional horror movie icon. It’s said to be in the vein of Scream with elements of Back to the Future (time travel is involved) and classic John Hughes teen films from the 80’s.
