Next weekend you have two options when it comes to aliens invading the City of Angels. Pay high ticket prices to see Battle: Los Angeles on the big screen or watch Battle of Los Angeles on the small screen for the cost of basic cable.
This Asylum mockbuster – shock of shocks – makes its world television premiere on Saturday, March 12th, at 9/8 Central, just a mere 24 hours after Battle: LA invades theaters. Both films revolve around the military fighting off an alien invasion of Los Angeles, but Battle of Los Angeles stars Nia Peeples and Kel Mitchell and looks as ambitious in both scope and mimicry as its special effects look video game cut scene quality.

I fully expect The Asylum to post a full-length trailer in the coming week since the DVD hits shelves March 15th.
All things considered, this Asylum/Syfy conflation could still turn out to be better than Skyline.
