Clive Barker’s Rawhead Rex Getting a 4K Restoration

Attention Clive Barker fans! Kino Lorber has announced that they will be releasing a 4K restoration of Rawhead Rex, the 1986 British/Irish horror film that was directed by George Pavlou and written by Barker. They are stating that there will be a summer theatrical release and a Blu-ray in time for Halloween. No other information has been released, so it’s time to play the waiting game!
Rawhead Rex stars David Dukes, Kelly Piper, Ronan WIlmott, Niall Toibin, Niall O’Brien, Hugh O’Conor, Cora Lunny, and Heinrich von Schellendor as the titular creature.
Synopsis:
Ireland will never be the same after Rawhead Rex, a particularly nasty demon, is released from his underground prison by an unwitting farmer. The film follows Rex’s cross country rampage, while a man struggles to stop it.
