Amber Benson Returning to Supernatural

Amber Benson, best known to genre fans as Tara from the hit TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, is headed back to the small screen to reprise another role that she enjoyed along with a certain pair of brothers.
According to Zap 2 It Benson (pictured below) is set to make her return for “Supernatural” episode 619, tentatively titled “Mommy Dearest”, which is most likely a nod to the whole Mother of All business the Winchesters have going on.
Benson played “good” vampire Lenore in Season 2’s “Bloodlust”. Lenore was the head of a group of vampires who were attempting to live peacefully among humans. They fed on cattle blood and tried to blend in to keep hunters like Gordon and the Winchesters off their backs.
Lenore proved that she could resist the temptation of human blood when Gordon tempted her by slicing Sam’s arm open. Though Dean initially hesitated to set her free, Sam convinced him to let her and the rest of the non-murderous vamps go.
