Crewmembers Daniels and Oram Share Personal Messages in Alien: Covenant
Two new videos promoting the upcoming sci-fi/horror movie Alien: Covenant have been released and they’re presented in a rather interesting style. Both are messages from crewmembers (Daniels (Katherine Waterston) and Oram (Billy Crudup)) who are talking to someone they care about. These messages are interspersed with found footage elements from the planet that the Covenant lands on, footage that reveals terror, destruction, and mystery. While it doesn’t say whether these found footage elements will make their way into the final film, it’s an interesting approach that hasn’t been done in the Alien universe. I’m wondering if this is inspired by Phoenix Forgotten, the upcoming sci-fi/horror found footage film that Ridley Scott is executively producing…

Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby star in Alien: Covenant. Ridley Scott directed the film, which was written by John Logan and Dante Harper based on a story by Jack Paglen and Michael Green.

Synopsis:
