Stare Down Peter Dinklage in First Knights of Badassdom Still

Just in time for Valentine’s Day director Joe Lynch has shown fans some love by releasing the first official still from his upcoming flick, Knights of Badassdom!

“Thanks to everyone who made the KoB Facebook page hit 1000k “likes” and going strong, the powers that be have let us give you a little taste of the insanity to come,” says Lynch on the film’s official site. “Sure, it might be a bit of a tease, but why show our hand early? There’s much more to come, so why spoil the fun? Besides, wait till you see who (…or, what) Sir Hung is staring down in this cryptic moment.”

“I believe we may release another still when @badassdom_movie reaches 2K followers and from what I hear, more will be revealed, so tell your friends, families and enemies! Badassdom is coming!”

Knights of Badassdom stars Summer Glau, Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, Douglas Tait, and Danny Pudi. The flick follows the exploits of a group of LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a big badass demon.

Spectral Motion, who created creatures and mutants for the Hellboy and X-Men franchises, are handling the special effects duty so expect a lot from the plethora of demonic minions that are set to be unleashed.

Synopsis
After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe (Kwanten) reluctantly decides to join Eric (Zahn) and his LARPing (Live Action Role Players) friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating LARPer Gwen (Glau) and finds himself plunged into a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book. That spell releases an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?
