Red Christmas Acquired by Artsploitation Films

Craig Anderson’s Australian horror film Red Christmas (review) has been acquired for US distribution by Artsploitation Films. They plan on running it through festivals during the summer and will be giving it a limited theatrical run in August with a home video release, including DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD, in October.
Red Christmas stars Dee Wallace, Geoff Morrell, Sarah Bishop, and Janis McGavin.
Synopsis:
A troubled matriarch (Wallace) must defend her family when a mysterious stranger turns up at her secluded country mansion on Christmas Day. A day of celebration becomes a night of terror, as the stranger reveals a secret from the family’s past and threatens to destroy their future.
