I love the following one-sheet. I’m not even sure why. Maybe it’s the classic iconography of the whole white sheet with black eyehole thing, or maybe it’s the lack of pensive floating heads. Who knows? It just makes me want to see the movie. Will it do it for you too?
Look for David Lowery’s A Ghost Story in theaters and elsewhere July 7th via A24.
The supernatural tale stars Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara. Affleck plays “a spectral figure” who returns to his former home to watch over his grief-stricken lover, played by Mara.
Lowery most recently directed Disney’s Pete’s Dragon. He also wrote A Ghost Story, which, according to sources, A24 acquired sight unseen. The film is produced by Toby Halbrooks, James M. Johnston, and Adam Donaghey.
A Ghost Story tells the tale of a ghost and the house he haunts. Check out some new eye candy below along with the poster.
