Have a Super Halloween with Marvel Horror: The Magazine Collection

Disney isn’t going to be giving us an R-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe film any time soon (although thankfully we can wallow in the brutality of the MCU Netflix shows), and Marvel’s adults-only MAX imprint is now defunct, but fans can look forward to some hardcore shit from the House of Ideas later this year with the upcoming trade paperback Marvel Horror: The Magazine Collection.

As its name suggests, it reprints many of the classic horror stories from Marvel’s magazines over the years, including stories featuring Blade, Dracula, Satana, Gabriel the Devil Hunter, Lady Daemon, and the Death-Dealing Mannikin. That sure sounds like a lot of horror crammed into 264 pages.

Marvel Horror: The Magazine Collection will be released just in time for Halloween on October 24. Make your Halloween a super one by pre-ordering it on Amazon.

Synopsis:
Marvel’s supernatural superstars star in lavishly illustrated tales of horror! And many of these bizarre adventures from the age of the black-and-white magazine are collected here for the very first time! Blade hunts, Dracula stalks, and the Zombie shambles! Meanwhile, night brings the daughter of the diabolical Satana! You’ll meet Gabriel, Devil Hunter! Discover the magic of Lady Daemon! Fear the Death-Dealing Mannikin! And brave the Haunt of Horror and the Vault of Evil! They’re rarely seen creepy classics filled with werewolves, vampires, and monsters unleashed – read them if you dare!

COLLECTING: MARVEL PREVIEW 3; MATERIAL FROM MARVEL PREVIEW 7-8, 12; HAUNT OF HORROR (1974) 1-2; MONSTERS UNLEASHED (1973) 3-9; BIZARRE ADVENTURES 25, 33.
