The Son of the Grim Reaper Offers One Last Meal Before Death

Coming in mid-April is Last Meal, a new webseries from husband and wife restaurateur couple Aaron and Jessica Grimmer. The premise is that Aaron plays the son of the Grim Reaper and has decided to offer upcoming victims one last dinner and conversation before they’re slain and taken to the afterlife.
The show will include guest appearances from folks such as pet photographer Carli Davidson, comedian/actress/writer Sabrina Jalees, musician Brent Knopf, graphic novelist Nicole J. Georges, and more.
Aaron Grimmer explains, “Jessica and I, besides food and drink, are very interested in death. We were looking for a fun way to add to the cultural conversation around death and promote our restaurants…and what better way than to tell the next generation Grim Reaper story? We get deep, consume great food and drink, and then kill them.”

Synopsis:
Aaron and Jessica Grimmer are currently running the “family business”…but doing it with a “twist” or a knife as it were. Each week, Aaron, the grim reaper’s son, and his fashion forward wife, Jessica, entertain and interview remarkably talented guests before “killing” them in an absurdly campy way…all while dining and drinking some of the most beautiful and strange dishes and cocktails imaginable. Last Meal riffs off the popularity of celebrity interviews and cooking shows in a quirky, comedic indie style…all in about 9 minutes. Think “Dinner for 5” meets “Beetlejuice” meets “The Addams Family”.
