Dead Space 2 Live Event Being Held Today, January 24th!

In honor of the Dead Space 2 launch this week, Visceral and EA Games are hosting a special Live Event with the Dead Space 2 team TODAY AT 4:30 PM PST (7:30 PM EST). Those watching live will get a chance to ask questions and win prizes.
Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis hosts the one-hour event with team interviews including an exclusive look at the Dead Space iPhone game, gameplay demos of Dead Space 2, and the first reveal of the new Lurker kill designed by the “Get Dismembered in Dead Space 2” contest winner.

Game Synopsis:
Dead Space 2 pushes the limits of action, horror, and terror. After waking up in a sprawling, dark, and mysterious location, Dead Space 2 hero Isaac Clarke again finds himself thrust into the middle of a massive Necromorph invasion. Surrounded by the screeching cries of undead monsters and the haunting drum of echoing noises, Isaac plots a course through abandoned building after creepy abandoned building. New tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac’s signature Plasma Cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless Necromorph onslaught. Survival isn’t the only thing on Isaac’s mind in Dead Space 2 – this time, he calls the shots.
Look for Dead Space 2 to deliver best-in-class sound design, visuals, and action sequences upon its release January 25, 2011, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
