A new poster for the upcoming creature feature Colossal (review) has been released and it’s quite different from normal movie poster fare. There’s a colorful playfulness to the print that is often missing these days and it certainly catches the eye with its interesting artistic style.

Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, Tim Blake Nelson, Nathan Ellison, and Austin Stowell star in Colossal, which comes from director Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes, Open Windows).

Look for the film via Tom Quinn and Tim League’s distribution company Neon on April 7, 2017.

Synopsis:
Gloria (Hathaway) is an ordinary woman who, after losing her job and being kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
