EDM Artist REZZ Releases Silent Hill-Inspired Track

EDM artist REZZ is someone I didn’t know about until quite recently. However, it seems that she’s made quite the name for herself in the past couple of years, attracting the attention of mega-genre artists such as Deadmau5 and Skrillex. Her self-taught skills have rocketed her to dizzying levels, seeing her perform at Kitchener’s Ever After Festival and Toronto’s Digital Dreams. There have even been, according to Thump, comparisons of the Niagara Falls native to Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame as well as Gesaffelstein.

However, what drew my attention was her recent tweet saying that she put together an original composition that was inspired the Konami video game series Silent Hill. Now, I’m not sure if she means the first game or Silent Hill: Downpour, which the track image suggests. However, both games are fantastic and I’m 100% okay with either being the inspiration.

You can stream the track below and also download it for free if you enjoy it. Also, thanks to our pals over at Plenty Dreadful for the head’s up!
