The Grudge Creator Shimizu Takashi Dreaming Up Little Nightmares

He may have just released his supernatural horror film A Rain Woman, but Shimizu Takashi, who you may know as the creator of The Grudge series, has already almost finished work on his next project.
Titled Little Nightmares (no relation to Bandai Namco’s upcoming game of the same name), it’s set in a small town where not only have children been disappearing, but adults have also mysteriously been dying suspicious deaths. A reporter arrives to investigate the strange goings on and finds that there may be a supernatural curse at play, especially when his girlfriend begins to experience visions of ghostly children.
Little Nightmares stars Mugi Kadowaki, Hideaki Takizawa and Daiki Arioka, and will be released in Japan on 17 June 2017.
