Ivan Reitman on Ghostbusters 3 – Everything We Know is Wrong
And the merry-go-round known as Ghostbusters 3 news keeps on spinning into 2011. This latest bit of non-news comes courtesy of director Ivan Reitman, who now insists that all previous bits of news have been wrong. Le sigh.
Reitman dropped this earth-shattering news during an interview he did with Cinema Blend.
“Virtually everything you’ve read on the internet [about Ghostbusters III] is not accurate,” he tells the site, adding that they still need to get the cast together first. “[We] have some actors who seem to be interested in doing it, a ton of interest in the film.”
Columbia Pictures is aiming at a May 2011 start date. Stay tuned … that is if you still even care.
