No Signs of Death for Alan Ball at HBO
And the crappy news keeps piling up today. We told you a few months ago about “True Blood” creator Alan Ball’s newest project for HBO entitled “All Signs of Death”. Sadly, it’s likely that’s all you’re ever going to hear about it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed HBO is passing on Ball’s latest drama project.
The Ball-directed pilot was based on Charlie Huston’s noir novel, The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death, about a slacker who joins a crime scene clean-up crew. HBO has decided to not opt for a series greenlight, which should also keep Ball focused on his hit “True Blood”.
Hey, Showtime … looking for some new ideas?
