Remember back in September when rock band Valora released Chapter 1 of their five-part graphic novel? It’s been a bit of a wait, but they’ve now unleashed Chapter 2, which is set to a new song by the group called “Extreme”.

The Valora graphic novel is being made available as a downloadable PDF from the official Valora website. Our heroine, Valora, is a kick-ass female character armed with a rebellious streak and a keen sense of justice. The new video finds Valora in the Crusades of the Middle Ages, where she encounters a group of soldiers coming to collect the mysterious and powerful orb last seen in the first chapter set in ancient Egypt.

In Chapter 1 Valora and the son of Egypt’s high priest are bound together in an eternal effort to keep the orb from anyone who tries to use it for evil. In Chapter 2 medieval knights come into possession of the orb but are challenged by Valora, who in this life is a master archer. Watch the video for “Extreme” below to find out if Valora is successful in recovering the orb.

Shockhound is offering “Extreme” as a free download so make sure to grab the song after checking out the video. To learn more about Valora’s adventures, read Chapters 1 and 2 of the digital comic at Valora’s official site, and look for Chapter 3 coming soon!

Valora is comprised of lead singer Syd Duran, who, with her electrifying voice and passionate guitar playing, is the band’s heart and soul. “Each member lends their own unique talents and personality to Valora. We’re bandmates, best friends, and family,” Syd says of lead guitarist Ryan Villa, keys and background vocalist Tae Duran, drummer Jared Baez, bassist Kasim Somers, and guitarist Cody Neibling.

The Valora story was conceived by Duran and brought to graphic life with the help of Ahmet Zappa — musician, writer, and the creative force behind Kingdom Comics and Monsterfoot Productions. Says Zappa, “I wanted Syd’s vision for this dynamic female hero to jump off the pages of the novel with great character development and compelling graphics.
