The Dowdles Finally Heading Overseas for The Coup

It’s been about two years since last we spoke to the Dowdle brothers concerning their next feature The Coup. Sometimes things take a while to get cookin’, ya know? Finally there’s some movement!
According to Bloody Disgusting Lionsgate is producing the pic that will center on an American family that moves to Cambodia for work just as a rebel mob takes over and starts killing all Americans. The Dowdle brothers will both be directing the thriller from a screenplay penned by John.
Said Drew Dowdle in an earlier interview with us, ”Yeah, it’s going to be a family chase movie and it will be nuts.”
