Supernatural thriller The School is in pre-production now, and while we don’t have a lot of info on the upcoming film, we do have its synopsis, some early artwork courtesy of Cinema Management Group, and a few more details to share.
Storm Ashwood (Moth) is directing; and Blake Northfield (Out of the Shadows), Timur Innvutt (Out of the Shadows), Ciaran Jordan (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead), and Jim Robison (Narcititis) are producing the film. The anticipated release date is sometime in 2018.
Synopsis:
Amy, an attractive, successful surgeon, struggles to cope with her emergency room duties and those of a young mother looking after her hospitalized son who has fallen into a coma. After being reprimanded by her boss for obsessively believing her son will wake up, Amy becomes trapped in a coma/purgatory of her own – The School, where children from her past emerge to taunt and test her to the core.
Can Amy survive the lessons of The School and save those children, her son, and herself? Will she learn to play by the rules, or die playing?
