New Alien: Covenant Image Offers Stark Contrast to the Rest

The first few teaser images from Alien: Covenant have been pretty dark, but this latest one? This is a different beast altogether
Via the official Alien Twitter page, the new image comes with no mysterious numerical message. All we really know about it for sure is that it’s a pic of Prometheus‘ android David (Michael Fassbender). A while back Fassbender shared the following news, “I am allowed to say I am playing two robots — Walter and David,” the actor told the Irish Times. Might this be Walter?
The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Benjamin Rigby, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Guy Pearce, James Franco, and Callie Hernandez.
Specific plot details for the new film are being closely guarded; but it is believed to follow the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, who discover what they believe is an uncharted paradise but is, in fact, a dark, dangerous world, the only inhabitant of which is David (Fassbender), the “synthetic” and survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
