A new trailer has arrived for The CW’s new series “Riverdale” that gives us an extended look at the show. Along with it is another teaser that goes “deeper” into the show.
“Riverdale” debuts on Thursday, January 26, at 9PM ET/PT, following “Supernatural” in its new time slot of 8PM ET/PT. “Riverdale” is a surprising and subversive take based on the iconic characters from Archie Comics.

The series is written by Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Warner Brothers Studios and Berlanti Productions. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schecter, Jon Goldwater, and Aguirre-Sacasa serve as executive producers. It offers a bold, subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring small-town life and the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade.
The show focuses on the eternal love triangle of Archie Andrews, girl-next-door Betty Cooper, and rich socialite Veronica Lodge and includes the entire cast of characters from the comic books—including Archie’s rival, Reggie Mantle, and his slacker best friend, Jughead Jones.
