Drown in D.O.A. Blood River!

You know what’s not wise? When the shit has hit the fan in your life and you decide to throw a little voodoo into the mix. Not wise at all, but it makes for good viewing!

Read on for the early details of D.O.A. Blood River, which just announced some casting news.

Silver Plane Films and Kingfisher Media round out casting of the noir thriller D.O.A. Blood River with Christa B. Allen (“Revenge,” 13 Going on 30) as Jessie, Scottie Thompson (Skyline, “NCIS”) as Bonnie, Christopher Rob Bowen (Marauders, Heist) as Deputy Billy Renee, Tyson Sullivan (“Banshee,” “Quarry”) as Officer Walker, Stephen C. Sepher (Heist, 4 Minutes) as Vince Valenti, and Lillo Brancato (A Bronx Tale, Crimson Tide) as Frank Zanca.

Cast members previously announced include Billy Flynn (“Days of Our Lives”) as Sam Collins alongside Chris Mulkey (Whiplash) as Hans Dunkle and D.B. Sweeney (CHI-RAQ) as Detective Spiro.

The D.O.A. Blood River screenplay is written and directed by Stephen C. Sepher (Heist) and produced by Silver Plane Films and Kingfisher Media. Producers are Rory Fradella, Stephen C. Sepher, Kim Barnard, and Nazo Bravo.

Synopsis:
Sam Collins (Flynn), a pharmaceutical sales rep, visits a small town in Louisiana to close the business deal of a lifetime. He finds himself in a dark world of sex, corruption, and murder as he is poisoned with no antidote to save his life. Desperate for answers, Sam turns to a local girl, Jesse (Allen). Their path leads to a voodoo priestess that only confirms Sam’s doomed fate. On the run, with nowhere to go and no one to trust, Sam and Jesse find themselves running from police detectives, the Mob, and a dirty sheriff who wants him dead.
