Behind the Scenes of The Vampire Diaries Episode 7; New Summary of Episode 9
It’s hard to believe we’re already up to Episode 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” this week, entitled “Masquerade”, but despite how awesome the show’s sophomore season has been already, The CW isn’t one to rest on its laurels as they’ve just provided us with a brief summary of Episode 9 along with some behind-the-scenes shots of “Masquerade” to help whet the fans’ appetite even further.
Episode 7 “Masquerade” Synopsis (10/28/10 Air Date):
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decide on a new plan to deal with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) at the Lockwood’s masquerade ball. Katherine calls on an old friend, Lucy (guest star Natashia Williams), to attend the ball with her. Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), and Alaric (Matt Davis) all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee. Things take an ugly turn when Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) start doing shots with their friends. Sara Canning also stars. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.

Episode 9 “Katerina” Synopsis (11/11/10 Air Date):
Katherine’s (Nina Dobrev) past is finally revealed when Elena (also played by Nina Dobrev) puts herself in a dangerous position as she searches for the truth about what her own future may hold.
