The Last of Us 2 Officially Announced

After years of keeping us in the dark, Sony and Naughty Dog have finally announced a sequel to their critically acclimated masterpiece The Last of Us at the PlayStation Experience 2016 event.

Whilst no release window was given, we see from the reveal trailer that both Joel and Ellie and returning. Seeing as the pair were one of the most likable duos in the history of gaming, this can only be a good thing. Not much else was revealed in the way of plot, other than that it appears to take place a good several years after its predecessor, as evidenced by how they both appear to have aged considerably.

We’ll wait for more info on The Last of Us 2 with baited breath.
