First Riverdale Sneak Peek Video Released!

We’re still not 100% sure how Dread-worthy The CW’s “Riverdale” is going to end up being, but now that the first sneak peek of the show has been unveiled, we thought we’d share it so you guys can decide for yourselves.
“Riverdale” debuts on Thursday, January 26, at 9PM ET/PT, following “Supernatural” in its new time slot of 8PM ET/PT. “Riverdale” is a surprising and subversive take based on the iconic characters from Archie Comics.
The new series is written by Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Warner Brothers Studios and Berlanti Productions. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schecter, Jon Goldwater, and Aguirre-Sacasa serve as executive producers. It offers a bold, subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring small-town life and the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade. The show will focus on the eternal love triangle of Archie Andrews, girl-next-door Betty Cooper, and rich socialite Veronica Lodge and will include the entire cast of characters from the comic books—including Archie’s rival, Reggie Mantle, and his slacker best friend, Jughead Jones.
