Amityville House Sold to New Family

After being on the market for a while, the house that was home to the Defeo tragedy, which lead to the events of The Amityville Horror, has been sold to a new family.

The news comes from The Wrap, who report that the tragic home was sold for a bargain price of $850,000.

Built in 1927, the 5,000-square-foot Dutch Colonial house boasts five bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a boathouse, Jodie the demonic pig, and a mysterious red room with a portal to hell. Dripping walls, heating issues, and problematic front door were listed as optional.
