Here’s a secret you may not know about us Dread Central gals and dudes… we’re all a bunch of softies. We love sweets, we’re obsessed with cats, and we’re fond of pushing buttons at Target.

Okay, that’s actually just proof we’re really a group of grown-up children. The point still stands. We’re all just a bunch of saps, especially when it comes to a good cause.

Extra LifeWell, this Saturday we’re putting our controllers, keyboards, and mice where our mouths are. April Marie and Ted Hentschke have teamed up with some friends to join Extra Life. This is a 24-hour gaming marathon that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Starting in the early morning (around 9 a.m. PT) this Saturday, November 5, 2016, we’ll be streaming 24 hours straight on our Twitch channel, the Den of Dread. Join us throughout that time to see what we’re up to! We’ll be playing a variety of games, all with the intention to raise money for kids.

Each year Children’s Hospitals around the country treat thousands of kids for things like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents. This treatment is given whether or not their parents have the ability to pay. Therefore, Children’s Hospitals can always use our help. ALL of the money donated to our Extra Life fundraiser goes straight to local Children’s Hospitals. Your donations are also tax-deductible! So it’s win, win, win!

Check out our Extra Life team page: The Raven’s Plume. Select a team member from our roster that you’d like to support, and give that donate button a click! Donations are accepted securely through the Extra Life website.

After you’ve done that, head over to the Den of Dread and give us a follow so you can watch our marathon this Saturday, November 5th!

We hope to see many of you there this weekend because the more, the merrier! Let all your friends know, too! We’re looking forward to 24 hours of awesomeness for the kids.
