Artist Alex Ross Creates New Universal Monsters Prints
As if the Universal Monsters weren’t already cool enough, artist Alex Ross decided to create a series of prints (which are suitably in B&W) featuring the iconic creatures. They’re set to officially debut at next year’s SDCC, but in the meantime you can gaze at the images below.
You’ll find more of Ross’ fine work on his official website. As for the next entry in the rebooted Universal Monsters series, that will be The Mummy, which awakens on June 9, 2017.

For film buffs, it’s hard to imagine Frankenstein without thinking of Boris Karloff or Dracula without Bela Lugosi. Now, artist Alex Ross has brought their iconic film roles to life!
Just in time for Halloween, Alex Ross Fine Art is proud to announce the launch the Classic Universal Monsters Set. These icons of the monster horror genre were produced by Universal Studios during the 1920’s throughout the 1950’s.
Alex has painted the definitive versions of these stars of “Creature Features” and will premiere them officially at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2017. Alex painted these classics both in their original black & white and color-tinted editions.
